UPDATED: IGIVE campaign now underway

The following first day message was sent on behalf of President Brooks A. Keel.

Please join your fellow colleagues and me in enriching Augusta University and AU Health by participating in our annual IGIVE campaign.

There are so many worthy causes that you can support, but there are very few where you can have such a direct impact and easily see the positive benefits of your gift at work.

Every gift is making an impact, both big and small. What matters most is that it comes from YOU, our employees, the heart and soul of our great university. A campaign of this magnitude will be measured not only in our dollar goal, but also by its positive impact on our University, the city of Augusta, and beyond.

Our gifts during last year’s campaign benefited so many different areas ranging from new red wagons for the kids, scholarships for students, equipment upgrades, research funding, lab coats, study abroad opportunities to hair pieces for cancer patients.

I encourage you to make your gift to wherever you have Augusta pride. Our hope is to inspire others by giving first and demonstrating the power of employee’s investing in the future of our students, our patients, our university, our health system, and our community.

We invite you to IMAGINE WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER and make a difference during our IGIVE First Day celebrations. Plan to attend at least one of the events below and receive your pledge card, an IGIVE t-shirt and a treat of appreciation.
