Why learning by doing matters more, longer

Do we really learn better by doing? Dr. Kimberly Gray, director of the Office of Experiential Learning, thinks so. Gray joined the university in April of 2016 to help implement the university’s new Quality Enhancement Plan, “Learning by Doing.”

The Jagwire team sat down with Gray recently to talk about why learning by doing matters, and how letting students take a more active role in their education might help them learn more and remember what they learned longer.
