The Augusta University men’s and women’s basketball teams host the USC Aiken Pacers on Monday, Jan. 30 for a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The Jaguars have set a ‘White Out’ for the rivalry double feature. Fans, don your favorite white attireĀ and head over to Christenberry on Monday.
The women’s team tips off at 5:30 p.m. and the men are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. matchup.
The American Heart Association will be at the event for a special men’s halftime ceremony and to promote their Life is Why campaign. Maxwell Elementary School will sing the National Anthem prior to the men’s game!
The Augusta men are 15-4 overall and 8-3 in the league, while USCA is currently 13-5 and 7-4 in the PBC. The Jaguars lead the PBC standings and sit two spots above the Pacers in the east division.
The Lady Jags have a 10-7 overall mark and are 5-6 in the Peach Belt. The USCA women sit 11-9 and 7-4 in the PBC. Aiken is ranked third in the PBC East Division and AU right behind in fourth.
