After an extensive research process and an on-campus focus group, transportation consultants at Augusta University are ready to present their recommendation for transit route designs to support the Riverfront Campus and the new Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center.
This recommendation could also inform route plans for the new College of Science and Math.
The consultants will hold open forums to share their recommendations and gather additional feedback. All are invited to attend.
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Augusta University since 2009,” said Mitch Skyer, president of Solstice Transportation Group and Passio Technologies. “Transit enhances community, connects students and faculty, and creates a cohesive experience that is environmentally responsible. The innovation shown by the Parking and Transportation department at Augusta University helps make the campus experience more complete, and supports the university’s goals to take full advantage of their expanding physical resources.”
Both forums will take place Tuesday Feb. 27, 2018
