Tickets now on sale for Eden Stell Guitar Duo

Augusta University will host two of the biggest names in classical guitar in late January.

The Eden Stell Guitar Duo will perform on Friday, Jan. 22, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre.

Presented by the Jacobs Concert Series and sponsored by the Augusta University Lyceum Series, the duo of Mark Eden and Christopher Stell is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading guitar ensembles.

The duo have recorded seven CDs and were elected Associates of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of their outstanding musical achievements. Now celebrating the 25th year of playing together, Eden and Stell are on tour yet again with plans to stop briefly in Augusta on their international journey.

Classical music review publication Gramophone raves, “In every respect [their] performances and recording are of the highest quality. The Eden Stell Duo are one of the best duos around.”

Tickets are on sale now.

Augusta University faculty, staff and students get in free with a valid JagCard. Tickets for children and students are $5, and general admission tickets are $25.
