Take Back the Sidewalks Anti-Bullying Rally

What: Guest speakers, including community members and Augusta University faculty, staff and students, will come together to speak about the sidewalk chalk events that occurred on the Summerville Campus in October 2015.

After the rally, a collective effort to fill the sidewalks with affirming messages in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community will take place. Sidewalk chalk will be provided.

Where: Douglas Barnard Amphitheater

When: Thursday, Jan. 28 at 2:30 p.m.

Additional Information: Free stickers are available for students, faculty and staff to advertise and show their support. To get your free stickers, visit the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice and Social Work office in room AH N218 between now and Jan. 28.
