Submissions needed for annual Phi Kappa Phi Conference

Augusta University is looking for submissions for the 21st annual Phi Kappa Phi Student Research and Fine Art Conference.

This is an opportunity for all undergraduate students to showcase their scholarly and artistic endeavors. The conference includes oral and visual presentations.

“Research is a creative process. As we increase our understanding of the world, we tend to generate new, innovative ideas,” said Scott Thorp, chair of the department of Art and Design.

“And that’s good for researchers because we live in a complex time when innovation is the norm. Large portions of the economy now rely on creativity, knowledge and information,” he added.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 31.
