Students who get fully vaccinated by Student Health Services to now receive $200 incentive

Augusta University and the city of Augusta have expanded the COVID-19 vaccine incentive program for eligible students.

Now, any eligible student who receives a first or second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the Student Health Clinic (or a Student Health Services vaccine event) will receive a $100 gift card from the city.

Previously, the incentive just offered the $100 gift card after the second dose, when the patient was fully vaccinated – but now, students can receive $100 per dose, for a total of $200.

Full details are below:

  • This promotion is open to all Augusta University and EGSC-Augusta students who are registered students in Richmond County.
  • Those who are already fully vaccinated or receive a third “booster” dose are ineligible for this promotion.
  • Students do not need to permanently reside in Richmond County to be eligible for this promotion.

Student Health Services offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine by appointment every Monday and Thursday. Students should call 706-721-3448 to make an appointment.

Students should note that Dec. 23 is the last day to receive the vaccine incentive from Student Health.

Following the university holiday schedule, Student Health Services will be closed on Nov. 25, Thanksgiving Day.
