Sidewalk on Laney Walker will close for 1-2 days outside Professional Building 1

A portion of the sidewalk adjacent to Professional Building 1 on Laney-Walker Boulevard near 15th Street will be closed for construction beginning at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 5.

The Information Technology team for Augusta University Health System is working on an infrastructure upgrade that will impact sidewalk access on the north side.

The contractor has provided a pedestrian traffic plan that has been approved by the city of Augusta as shown above. This closure will last from one to two days.
