Sidewalk outside Professional Building 1 will be closed for work May 19-20

A portion of the sidewalk adjacent to Professional Building 1 on Laney-Walker Boulevard near 15th Street will be closed again for construction on May 19-20.

An Information Technology upgrade for AU Health will impact sidewalk access on the north side. The work has been extended and part of the sidewalk will be removed and replaced during the next closure.

The contractor has provided a pedestrian traffic plan that has been approved by the city of Augusta as shown above.
