SGA seeks student speakers, soloists for Fall Commencement

With fall commencement scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 14, the Student Government Association is looking for student speakers and soloists to represent the graduating class.

Application deadline to be part of the ceremony is Oct. 23.

The student soloist selected will lead the singing of the national anthem, as well as the Augusta University alma mater during the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies.

Interested graduating students must complete the application form and upload audition video via Box, to the links provided below. Students applying for the commencement soloist must submit a video audition of national anthem in Bb Major (starting on the pitch “F”) and have the AU alma mater in FM. Please include why you wish to be the student soloist and any experience you may have had performing in front of an audience.

Graduate commencement is Wednesday, Dec. 13. and undergraduate commencement is Thursday, Dec. 14 and a speaker and soloist are needed for both.
