Ronald McDonald House seeks teams for Plane Pull

Want to test your strength for a good cause? How about playing tug of war with a passenger airliner to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta?

The 9th annual Plane Pull is set for Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Augusta Regional Airport, and our local Ronald McDonald House is seeking teams of pullers for this annual fundraiser.

Re1605 Plane Pull.aigistration begins at 12:30p.m., and the first pull is at 1:30p.m.

“The event will have many FREE family-friendly features this year, including the FedEx Nascar, the Singing Princesses, therapy dogs, the Camaro Car Club and inflatables for the kids,” said Sean Frantom, development director for the organization. “We will also have the Kids Pull for the first 50 children that sign up to pull a plane on event day.”

Children’s Hospital of Georgia teams have included Hope on a Rope and Little Brave Hearts, and classes from Medical College of Georgia have also competed.
