Ricketson promoted to director of budget services

Longtime employee Jeanne Ricketson was recently promoted to director of budget services within the finance division.

Ricketson worked in the Information and Technology Department at Augusta State University from November 2000 until April 2011 and later moved to the Special Projects Office. After consolidation, she joined the Budget Planning and Analysis Department and has been consistently recognized for her attention to detail as well as her customer service. In August 2014, she was selected budget team leader.

In her new role, Ricketson will prepare the original budget for submission, amend operating budgets and approve monthly budget announcements. In addition, she will provide assistance and consultation, including analytical and financial planning support, to all units of the university. She will also work closely with senior leadership, vice presidents, the Medical Center Finance Department, deans and directors in analyzing budgets and identifying cost factors and funding opportunities for the university.
