
Augusta University’s Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is excited to introduce Dr. Christine Crookall, professor of Music, in her new role as associate dean. Dr. Crookall joins Dean Elna Green and Dr. Wes Kisting in providing leadership for the college. Her primary areas of responsibility will include student affairs, marketing and recruitment, and course scheduling.
Beginning her career at Augusta University in 2001, Dr. Crookall teaches applied cello lessons, music history, humanities, ear training, sight singing and string methods.
Dr. Crookall earned a bachelor’s in Music Performance from the University of British Columbia, and later earned a Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Cello Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied cello and pedagogy with internationally acclaimed pedagogue professor Phyllis Young.
