Vending machines

New vending machines coming to campus this summer

New snack vending machines will be installed this summer throughout the Augusta University and AU Health medical center buildings. During the replacement of the current machines, there could be some minor disruptions in service.

The current plan is to start on the Summerville Campus at the end of June and then transition to the Health Sciences Campus, including medical center buildings, by mid-July. Completion is expected by early August.

The new machines, supplied by local Augusta provider Riverside Refreshments, are energy efficient with touch screens and will accept cash, credit cards and Apple and Google Pay.

Additionally, 30% of the items in each machine will include healthier snack items.
