New lights installed in Fatman’s Parking Lot

New parking lot lights were installed in Lot 69/70, commonly referred to as the “Fatman’s Lot,” on June 25.

“The new lights will make the lot safer and much more usable”, said Beth Bryson, Georgia Regents University Parking & Transportation Manager.

Earlier this year, 220 parking spaces were added to that lot, bringing the total to 310 spaces. Lot 69/70 is served by the Jaguar Express Gold Route and is a short walk to the 15th Street corridor.

“We very much appreciate the assistance of the GHSU Foundation and the GRU Facilities Division for their help in making this project happen”, said Karl Munschy, Director of Auxiliary Administration.
