New app helps track the JagExpress Transit buses

Augusta University Parking & Transportation Services is rolling out a new app to track the JagExpress Transit buses.

The new app, named PassioGO, launched Sept. 1 and is replacing the current Smarttraxx App.

Passio Go tells users how full buses are, who’s driving, can rotate horizontally for a view of the entire route and offers the ability to set an alarm for a stop so they know when the bus will arrive.

David Santa Ana, director of parking and transportation, says, “The new Passio GO app is active right now, so I would encourage our passengers to download it from their app store today and begin using it. There is a ‘Take the Tour’ feature in the app menu that will show passengers how to use all of the features of the app.”

You can download the app for Android and IOS devices.

For more information about parking, transportation or auxiliary services email the parking office or call (706) 721-2953.
