New research published in the Journal of Public Economics suggests Conservatives may be “better looking” than their Liberal counterparts, but not for the reasons you might expect.
“A lot of research shows that physically attractive people earn more money,” said Dr. Gregg Murray, associate professor of Political Science. “And because they earn more money, they are more likely to oppose policies calling for the redistribution of economic resources, like taxes.”
