Dr. Alex Mabe, a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior weighs in on behavior therapies for children with ADHD.

“Positive results often take more time with behavioral therapies, but the results are similar to those observed with medication. Additionally, the benefits of behavioral therapies may be broader and may even last longer,” Mabe said.
