“IGIVE is a wonderful opportunity for faculty and staff to support areas on campus that are meaningful to them,” says Jeff Snow.
“For many years, it has been known that certain bacteria, including salmonella, are inherently immunogenic," says Gang Zhou, PhD.
The division has also expanded to include the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship, becoming the only public medical school in Georgia to offer the program.

AU employs over 6,200 people, including nearly 4,300 staff and over 2,000 faculty as of August 2025.
