Lunch-and-learn targets all entrepreneurially minded faculty; registration ongoing

The Office of Innovation Commercialization is hosting its quarterly lunch-and-learn at noon on Friday, Aug. 26, at CA 2109 in the Interdisciplinary Research Center on the Health Sciences Campus.

Lunch will be provided for the first 30 people who register before Tuesday, Aug. 23.

According to Dr. Chris McKinney, associate vice president for innovation commercialization, the lunch-and-learn is intended for anyone on campus interested in starting a new innovation-based company, commercializing new innovations more generally or perhaps securing funding from Georgia’s biosciences-focused angel network.

The speaker, Frank McDaniel, is the founding partner in the McDaniel Law Group PC and has over 34 years of experience practicing law. Active in the Atlanta entrepreneurial and venture communities, he brings a wealth of business savvy along with his legal expertise.

Please fill out the registration form here. Anyone with questions is encouraged to email Rachel Solomon or call 706-721-0153.
