Let’s ride! Motorcyclists invited to second annual charity Poker Run at Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home

Whether on two, three or four wheels, motorcyclists everywhere are invited to the second annual Poker Run at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home on Saturday, June 15.

Registration starts at 10 a.m., and the event begins right at 11 a.m. The Poker Run will move to Timms Harley-Davidson from there and wrap up at the Eagles Club between 4 and 6 p.m.

T-shirts, door prizes and more will also be available at the event.

Registration is $15 per person and all proceeds go to the Georgia War Patient Fund.

“This ride is an opportunity for our veterans to spend time with members of our community,” said Carlton Deese, executive director of Georgia War. “This ride is certainly uplifting to the veterans, but also to the riders, as many of them are veterans themselves or have relatives who have served our country.“
