IGIVE moves to Summerville today

The Summerville kick-off for IGIVE, the annual campaign for giving at Augusta University and Augusta University Health, runs from 10:30 until 1:30 in the Grove on Aug. 14.

Another Health Sciences Campus event will also be held on Aug. 22 at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia Fountain and at the Terrace Green.

Other IGIVE festivities include the Community Campaign Kickoff Luncheon and the Eat for Augusta U event. The campaign culminates on Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. with the fundraising total being announced during the Augusta U Brew-N-Que in the D. Douglas Barnard, Jr. Amphitheatre.

Gifts can be directed to benefit any of the university’s nine colleges and cyber initiatives, the health system, university athletics, the Children’s Hospital of Georgia or other specific programs.
