Points to remember
- You can search for ICD-10 diagnoses using either the clinical diagnosis name or alphanumeric ICD-10 codes.
- You can save ICD-10 codes as favorites.
- In scope clinics can discontinue the use of all paper encounter forms, as E&M and procedure charges should be fully electronic.
- Charge capture, medication reconciliation, and note completion are being monitored daily by GRMA.
- Physicians can reconcile daily/weekly note and charge completion through the Ambulatory Organizer.
- Please be as specific as possible when listing the clinical reason for diagnostic and pathology requests.

This is a short term dedicated phone line to support the ICD-10 cutover period. All calls will be triaged and referred to the appropriate subject matter experts for resolution. Please contact the IT Help Desk at 706-721-7500 for ICD-10 inquiries outside these hours.
Training coaches are available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday this week to provide one-on-one assistance as needed. Coaches will also be floating in the ambulatory practice areas.
PowerChart Workflow Optimization Lab
Have you ever wondered how much time you could save if you had PowerChart optimized for all of your documentation? In the spirit of this question, we are pleased to invite you to participate in our new ongoing PowerChart Workflow Optimization Lab for providers starting this week. This lab will assist you in improving your PowerChart workflow and enable you to accomplish these time-saving items:
- Save new ICD-10 Diagnoses to Favorites and improve efficiency when searching.
- Create Favorite Orders and Charges.
- Add Favorite Orders and Charges into the Quick Orders, and improve layout for fast, clickable orders.
- Maximize automation of note creation through the use of Pre-Completed Notes, Macros, and Autotext.
Additionally, this time can be utilized to answer any general questions you may have regarding PowerChart functionality. Please feel free to drop in at your convenience. No appointment is needed. The lab is conveniently located in CJ-2134. Take the bridge from the second floor of the hospital near the Terrace Dining Room and crossover to the CJ building (Pavilion 3) and take the elevator down one floor. Upcoming dates are:
