‘Hoops for Heroes Blood Drive Challenge’ Feb. 19

Augusta University Athletics and the Shepeard Community Blood Center will present the “Hoops for Heroes Blood Drive Challenge,” a competition between Augusta and USC Aiken during the week of Feb. 12-19, to benefit the local blood supply.

To donate on behalf of Augusta University, stop by the bloodmobile near the JSAC on the Summerville Campus on Feb. 19, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Participants in the on-campus blood drive are invited to enjoy free pizza from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. at the bloodmobile unit. All “Hoops for Heroes” donors will receive a special “Hoops for Heroes” T-shirt.

The blood drive challenge is open to all students, faculty/staff, alumni, fans, supporters, and the general public. When donating at a center, use the group code# 1000 to ensure that your donation is credited to Augusta University or tell the front desk receptionist the school you are donating to support.
