In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses a sort of “biological barbell” created by Augusta research scientists that may be a new template for gene therapies in the battle against some common, complex and often deadly cancers.
