This is an Active Enrollment – Open Enrollment for GRMC benefits starts on Oct. 1 and ends on Oct. 16. Everyone benefits-eligible at Georgia Regents Medical Center must go online in Employee Self-Service to enroll, or you may be defaulted into a plan you do not wish to be enrolled in, or, you may not set your 2016 contributions for flexible spending and/or savings accounts. Anyone wanting reduced medical premiums by attesting they are tobacco-free and/or their spouse is not eligible for medical insurance through their own employer, would also need to re-attest each year through the ESS website.
GRMC Open Enrollment – Did You Know…?
Did you know that your benefits are part of your total compensation package? When we talk about total
compensation, we are referring to your pay plus benefits. GRMC provides competitive benefits and
contributes a good portion towards benefits in general. This is part of our commitment to you as an
employee and adds to your total compensation annually.
For example, did you know in FY15, GRMC contributed…?
$14,300,000 health insurance
$10,000,000 retirement savings plan
$1,200,000 disability insurance
$360,000 life insurance
In total, your employer, GRMC, paid out almost $26M towards employee benefits in fiscal year 2015. Also, the GRMC health plan covers all of the appropriate preventive care at no cost to the plan member if received in-network.
