Georgia Research Alliance transforms labs into businesses

Thanks to the Georgia Research Alliance, Augusta University is one of many universities working to develop opportunities toward bringing research to the marketplace.

Dr. Christopher McKinney, associate vice president of the Office of Innovation Commercialization at Augusta University, expects the new Hull McKnight Georgia Cyber and Innovation Training Center innovation space to be strongly supportive of startups saying, “We will have new faculty in the cyber area to ensure we are building new companies and products that are commercially viable.”
