Early bird registration for Diversity and Inclusion Summit ongoing

Early bird registration for Augusta University’s sixth annual Diversity and Inclusion Summit continues until Aug. 21.

Tickets purchased before the Aug. 21 deadline are $50. After Aug. 21, tickets increase to $65.

The Diversity and Inclusion Summit, which occurs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, features anti-racist author Tim Wise, who will offer practical methods for dismantling discrimination.

Other speakers include Yewande Austin, diversity lecturer-in-residence at Virginia Commonwealth University, and motivational speaker Yannik McKie.
