De Silva selected KITP Scholar

Dr. Theja De Silva, assistant professor of Physics, has been selected as a Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) Scholar for 2016-2018.

The purpose of the KITP Scholars program is to support physicists who are conducting theoretical research at non-PhD granting universities around the world.  Scholars are also provided funding to travel to KITP at the University of California, Santa Barbara, to participate in scientific meetings, to conduct research, and to meet with other experts in the field of theoretical physics.
