At the National Dental Association’s annual convention in Dallas, Dental College of Georgia students played a significant role.
Busola Olaseinde, immediate past president of the DCG chapter, and newly elected president Melanie Evans represented the DCG delegation during the House of Delegates delivery of the chapter reports.
DCG also had a significant presence during the annual research symposium. Third year student Tamika Brown presented research focusing on increasing the amount of dentists within community health centers, while Cornelius Daniel, also a third year student, earned 2nd place overall for his research on dental materials.
Recent alums Dr. Franklyn Aguebor and Dr. Yahaziel Simon were also on hand to discuss life as young professionals.
