Construction Update: Demo at Residence VI will create new parking spaces

The demolition of the former Residence VI housing units on 15th Street has begun. The antiquated buildings are being razed and removed to make way for additional parking on the Augusta University Health Sciences Campus.

Lots 35 and 36 will remain closed about five months while the work is being completed. Approximately 80 new parking spaces will be available when the lots reopen in late spring.
