Come celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage

To acknowledge the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, Augusta University is celebrating Constitution Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the breezeway of the Jaguar Student Activities Center.

Dr. Elna Green, dean of the Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, will give the keynote address at 1.pm.

The League of Women Voters will also be present to help register attendees to vote.

A reception will immediately follow provided by the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement.

This event is sponsored by University Libraries, Multicultural Student Engagement and Pamplin College.
