Business workshop to focus on rapid response, data collection

The Greater Augusta Information Systems Security Association has teamed up with Georgia Regents University’s Hull College of Business to host a workshop on the Rapid Response and Data Collection — Triaging for The Real World. This free event will be held in GRU’s Jaguar Student Activities Center on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 p.m.

rob leeThe keynote speaker for this event will be Rob Lee, a Digital Forensic Curriculum Lead at the SANS Institute. In his presentation, Lee will discuss how to identify folders and files that often contain key insights, reducing the time spent sifting through contents by triaging effectively, and eliminating backlogs by culling case data by over 80 percent.

Lee is an entrepreneur and consultant in the Washington, DC area, specializing in information security, incident response, and digital forensics. Lee is currently the curriculum lead and author for digital forensic and incident response training at the SANS Institute in addition to owning his own firm.
