Augusta University to host 24-hour walk to honor veterans

Augusta University’s third annual Walk 2 Remember, a 24-hour walk-a-thon to recognize the sacrifice and dedication of our veterans, will kick off at 10 a.m. on Nov. 10 on the Summerville Campus immediately following an Awareness Rally at 9 a.m.

Adult registration for the walk is $25 and $15 for students with a valid JagCard. Participants who register by Nov. 3 will receive a commemorative t-shirt.

Proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by the Augusta University Ranger Club and Military and Veterans Services, will benefit the Augusta Warrior Project. Visit the registration page to register or call 706-729-2255.
