Augusta University offers free summer camp for children with asthma

WHAT: Children in the CSRA living with asthma will learn interactive tricks to manage their symptom triggers during Augusta University’s fifth annual Augusta Areas Asthma Day Camp.

BACKGROUND: Augusta University’s Augusta Area Asthma Day Camp provides a fun, safe environment for children age 6-13 to learn more about asthma – an illness that continues to be leading chronic disease among children nationwide. This event is funded by a grant from the W.G. Raoul Foundation, and activities include asthma management sessions, swimming and hiking.

WHEN AND WHERE: 8:30-9:30 a.m., July 18, at Camp Tanglewood, 4687 Columbia Rd.
