Augusta University and Savannah River National Laboratory partner to give STEM scholarships

Augusta University has partnered with Savannah River National Laboratory to award STEM scholarships to help with students with their undergraduate research. Gregory Passmore, mentor and professor in the College of Allied Health Sciences at Augusta University, is one professor in the faculty-led research who is offering his guidance to students working to solve a research problem in their respective fields.

“Having the opportunity to do undergraduate research is probably the best thing, academically, that’s ever happened to me. It’s inspiring me to work towards the major of my choice. Physics,” says scholarship recipient Steven Garner.
