Between 1981 and 2000, more than 83 million Millennials were born. Today they’re flooding the workforce, bringing fresh new ideas and different perspectives to industries and businesses the world over.
But how do you work with them? And why should your business change the way it thinks about Millennials? Are they really the “Me, Me, Me” generation?
Melissa Furman, assistant dean of the James M. Hull College of Business, wants to set the record straight on Millennials, once and for all.
“Some of my research right now is actually looking at how millennials are changing the face of business, and they’re already changing it. In bigger cities like Atlanta it is so obvious,” Furman said. “We’re not seeing it so much here in Augusta. But with all the cyber movement coming in, we’re going to start seeing it. So get ready.”
