Research making medical devices safer from possible hacking

Dr. Michael Nowatkowski is working to make medical devices safe from hacking possibilities. Nowatkowski, an associate professor at the Augusta University Cyber Institute, program director for Cyber Sciences and a senior research fellow with the Army Institute at West Point, is working on “reverse-engineering” standard devices in order to show how to locate vulnerabilities in medical devices.
