The Annual Equipment Inventory for university departments started on Wednesday, May 20, and will run through Wednesday, June 3.
It is mandatory that all assets over $3,000 in value are inventoried. Failure to follow Property Control policies and procedures may result in disciplinary actions ranging from counseling to written reprimands to further action up to and including dismissal from employment.
Because state auditors use this inventory list to evaluate our financial operations, it is vital that this inventory is done right.
Therefore, property control officers should complete the inventory accurately and submit the results in a timely manner.
