1. All of the proceeds go back into the community for one main goal: Curing cancer faster
100% of all fundraising supports innovative cancer research at Augusta University’s Georgia Cancer Center. Since 2019, Paceline has invested $1.7 million into the GCC through 33 awarded grants.

2. No PaceDay last year = Bigger and better this year!
Although PaceDay was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Helene, participants, sponsors and supporters still raised more than $250,000 that went toward an additional seven cancer research projects. This year, we want to do even more to support the mission.

3. You can walk, run or ride to support cancer research
If you’ve been looking to boost your physical activity, this is the perfect way. This year, there are six different options for participants of all skill levels. If you can’t participate in PaceDay but want to help your team fundraise, you can register as a Paceline Pal with no registration fee and no fundraising minimum.

4. Kids can participate, too!
No childcare? No problem! Parents participating in the 5K can add their kids ages 3-13 to their registration for $25, and children under 3 are free. They will receive a PaceDay T-shirt and all-inclusive food and drinks on PaceDay.

5. You can meet new friends and build connections
PaceDay allows people from all walks of life to mingle and come together for a common cause. You’ll find yourself interacting with people who share similar mindsets and life experiences as you, creating close bonds within your circle and the Augusta community.

6. There are plenty of opportunities for volunteers
Paceline wouldn’t be possible without help from volunteers. Find out how you can get involved here.

7. Cooler fall weather
If all goes to plan, you won’t have to worry about muggy and humid weather on PaceDay. A nice breeze and colorful autumn leaves will spur you on!

8. New to fundraising? Paceline provides the tools to help you succeed
Paceline offers a fundraising dashboard that allows participants to communicate with potential donors, a fundraising toolkit composed of fundraising tips and tricks, a guide to starting a Facebook fundraiser and a downloadable PaceDay postcard you can share with friends and family!

9. Make a statement with swag
Paceline merchandise will be available before and after the race.

10. Party at the finish line!
To celebrate all of your hard work and contributions, join the party at the finish line at Augusta Common for participants and loved ones to enjoy! There will be live music, food, drinks and plenty of family fun.
