Chronicle of Higher Education: How Augusta University’s counseling center meets increased demand

Augusta University’s Student Counseling & Psychological Services was featured in a Chronicle of Higher Education article about how campus counseling centers are meeting rising demand from students.

Over the past six years, the number of students seeking appointments has grown by an average of 30 percent, five times the average rate of enrollment growth, according to the Center for Collegiate Mental Health.
