Don’t miss the second of the year’s four planned LASER Talks on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6-8 p.m. at the J. Harold Harrison, M.D. Education Commons on the Health Sciences Campus.
Hosted by the College of Allied Health Sciences, LASER Talks are presented by the Department of Art as a way to bring art and science together on campus.
LASER stands for Leonardo Arts and Science Evening Rendezvous, and the LASER events are affiliated with Leonardo/The International Society for Arts, Sciences and Technology, a nonprofit organization that aims to serve artists, scientists, researchers and thinkers through programs focused on interdisciplinary work, creative output and innovation.
Panelists include trombonist and artist-in-residence Wycliffe Gordon, assistant professor Mallory Lanier from the Department of Occupational Therapy and Jiri Rosicky, CEO of Invent Medical Group.
