Augusta University surpasses $1 million fundraising goal

The 2016 IGIVE fundraiser for Augusta University exceeded its $1 million goal for the second consecutive year.

With the help of alumni, faculty, staff, donors, and community partners, the campaign raised $1,033,490 according to an announcement made by university officials during the Augusta U Brew-N-Que on Friday, Oct. 14, marking the end of the 2016 IGIVE campaign.

“We celebrate this remarkable outpouring of support, funding gift, recognizing the tremendous impact it will have on achieving our tripartite mission of creating innovative learning opportunities, providing compassionate cutting-edge health care, and fostering meaningful research discoveries,” said President Brooks Keel. “I am deeply humbled and sincerely grateful for the way our entire community has come together. This is an amazing vote of confidence in Augusta University.”
