Participating in the event is free and open to the entire Augusta community. Almost everyone is affected by cancer somehow, and this walk is a way to celebrate and show support.
Individuals and teams will determine a fundraising goal, with money raised going to support patient care and cancer research projects at the Georgia Cancer Center.
While a sea of color was covered up by hoodies, coats, scarves and beanies, the cold weather couldn’t cover up the passion and the excitement during the Georgia Cancer Center’s inaugural “Unite in the Fight Against Cancer” walk.
Your chance to join the Georgia Cancer Center to improve the lives of those touched by cancer.
