She is a softball player and pre-nursing student at Augusta University! - - - "When I found out I would be attending AU on an athletic scholarship I felt like every late night and early morning spent perfecting my craft paid off and was worth it! I was thrilled to learn that I would be able to earn my degree and play softball at the same time! It meant the world to me to have the opportunity to help my parents out financially and pay them back for all of the sacrifices they made for me to get me to that point in the first place. Being on scholarship has helped me immensely. For one, it has shown me that hard work, sacrifice, and persistence pay off and can take you anywhere you want to go. This scholarship has helped my family so much financially and has allowed me to attend college and earn my degree at a much more affordable price."
