Participating in the event is free and open to the entire Augusta community. Almost everyone is affected by cancer somehow, and this walk is a way to celebrate and show support.
The event will run from 12-1 p.m. Friday, March 1. All are invited, and the first 50 in attendance will receive a free boxed lunch.
