In photos: Augusta University brings COVID-19 vaccine clinic to Summerville Campus

Augusta University launched its first COVID-19 vaccine clinic specifically for students, faculty and staff March 29 on the Summerville Campus.

Over 200 students, faculty and staff received their first vaccine dose that day, administered by medical and nursing students. Additional clinics will scheduled on campus after Spring Break. The campus community is also welcome to schedule an appointment at AU Health’s Washington Square vaccine clinic.

Augustus, the official mascot for Augusta University, also took part in celebrating vaccine eligibility opening to all Georgians 16 and younger. He made an appearance at the Washington Square site while students and staff members got their vaccinations. See photos below.
