Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Keel, PhD, has always stood up for what he calls his top priorities: students and patients. On July 20, Keel will proudly celebrate his five-year anniversary as president of Augusta University.
One of Augusta University Health’s two COVID-19 drive-thru specimen collection locations will relocate to downtown Augusta in an attempt to provide better access to testing for area residents and improved protections for caregivers.
One support person may still accompany a patient seeking treatment in Augusta University’s adult emergency department. However, due to social distancing requirements, the support person must wait outside until the patient is placed in an exam room.
School of Computer and Cyber Sciences volunteer Julianna Rodriguez has been named Augusta University’s Volunteer of the Year, the university’s highest volunteerism honor.
