Now open: Fall Sports Injury Clinic, Ortho On-Demand

From sprained ankles to fractured hips: A health crisis can happen in an instant, which is why Augusta University Health is providing urgent specialized care to meet your orthopaedic needs.

Now open is AU Health’s Fall Sports Injury Clinic which is designed to treat only non-emergent, sports-related injuries. Whereas, the Ortho On-Demand provides walk-in care to those with sports, work and home-related musculoskeletal injuries.

In both clinics, patients will be evaluated by the university’s highly-skilled sports medicine team, which includes an orthopaedic specialist, physical therapists and athletic trainers.

The Fall Sports Injury Clinic opens at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, and will run until Oct. 27. The Ortho On-Demand is open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays.

Both clinics are located in the Augusta University Medical Clinic at 1220 West Wheeler Parkway in Augusta. Learn more about the orthopaedic services offered at AU Health.
